Colophon: Here endeth The patterne of painefull adventures, gathered into English by Laurence Twine, and now newly imprinted by me, Clarke Conwell, at the Elston Press, New Rochelle, New York. One hundred and seventy copies have been printed, and are finished this seventh day of February, MDCCCCIII.

The Pattern of Painful Adventures () is a prose novel. A later edition, printed in by Valentine Simmes and published by Nathaniel Butter, was drawn patterne of painefull adventures book by William Shakespeare for his play Pericles, Prince of Tyre.
